Air Fried Whole Chicken
Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken - about 4 lbs.
  • 1 lemon
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Onion powder
  • 1 tsp. Dry mustard
  • 1 tsp Zatar
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp Avocado oil
Steps
  1. Clean the inside of a chicken + pat dry with paper towel.
  2. Cut a lemon in half. Squeeze the juice over the chicken. Place each half in the cavity.
  3. Make a paste of kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, zaatar and paprika. 2 tbsp Avocado oil to make the paste. Rub all over the chicken
  4. Preheat to 360. Air fry on roast. Place breast side down and set for 50 minutes. Flip the chicken over using 2 forks and cook another 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from air fryer and place on cutting board. Tent with foil and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes. It is moist on the inside and crisp on the outside!
