An easy weeknight, toss together soup that everyone likes.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. onion, diced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 16 oz. diced tomatoes
  • 1 4 oz. diced green chilies
  • 1 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 T. chili powder
  • 1 t. cumin
  • 1 t. smoked paprika
  • 1 t. sea salt
  • ½ t. pepper
  • ¼ t. garlic powder
  • note: optional - 1 16 oz. black beans, however not Paleo
  • note: optional toppings - sour cream, tortilla chips, however also not Paleo
Steps
  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef. When nearly browned, add onion and pepper and cook until vegetables are softened.
  2. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Serve with toppings if desired.
