  • ½ pound yellow onion (about 2 medium onions), thinly sliced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, roughly chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet paprika*
  • 1 14 ounce or 400 gram can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Sauerkraut, for serving (optional)
