Swedish Meatballs
Ingredients
  • Restock of Swedish Meatballs for the pantry shelves. These are definitely a huge hit with my family! I find I can get 15 decent sized meatballs in a wide mouth quart jar and that happily makes a meal of Swedish Meatballs for me, my husband and my son.
  • 6kg (total) of mince made 150 meatballs = 10 jars (my husband has already taken one to work to make meatball subs ).
  • I use a mix of 5% beef and 5% pork mince with finely chopped onions, garlic powder and salt to make the meatballs.
  • I brown them in the oven for 20 minutes, then into jars and fill with a 50/50 mix of chicken and beef stock.
  • PC’d for 90 minutes for quarts (75 minutes for pints).
