Seed Oat Honey Snack Bar

  • Ok folks here is my recipe. It is actually called  adapted from food.4tots.com but modified the recipe. Utensil used is 6"x10" line it with parchment paper with sides overhanging for easy lifting. 
  • Ingredients: 
  • 1. 100gm oats 
  • 2. 80gm almond flakes 
  • 3. 80gm pumpkin seeds 
  • 4. Handful of black and white sesame 
  • 5. 6 tbsp brown sugar 
  • 6. 2 tbsp honey 
  • 7. 50gm butter 
  • 8. 1/4 tsp salt 
  • Method: 
  • 1. Pan fry separately ingredients 1-4. 
  • 2. Then stir in butter, honey, salt and brown sugar until cloudy. Turn off heat. 
  • 3. Then add all the dry ingredients into the melted mixture. 
  • 4. Spread onto the lined pan and use a presser to spread evenly. 
  • 5. Bake at preheated oven for 10 min @175C. 
  • Note: this is a chewy bar which my husband likes but I prefer more crunchy texture, can anyone help me. Hope you all like it.
