Ingredients
  • 2 lb ground turkey (*96 to 99% lean ground meat) (or, chicken breast)
  • 3 cup Seasoning Blend: onion, celery, green pepper (frozen, diced) (or, 2 large onions & 3 bell peppers)
  • 2 cups brown rice (cooked) (or, uncooked instant brown rice, if using the uncooked brown rice please add 1 & ¾ cup of water, see Recipe Notes below for more information)
  • 29 oz diced tomatoes ( 2-14.5 oz cans) (or, 3-10 oz Rotel-style)
  • 15 oz pinto beans (1-15 oz can; rinsed and drained) (or, bean of choice: black, kidney, pink, etc.)
  • 14.50 oz corn (1-14.5 oz can, drained) (or, 1.5 cups frozen)
  • 1.50 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1.50 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1.50 teaspoons cumin
  • 1.50 teaspoons mineral salt
  • ¼ teaspoons black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • optional: crushed red pepper flakes
  • optional: jalapeño peppers (sliced for garnish)
