Garlic and Ginger Braised Chicken
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 chicken leg quarters, any excess skin and fat trimmed
  • ¼ cup diced shallots
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 thinly sliced green onion to serve
  • 3 cups steamed jasmine rice to serve
