Mediterranean Pork Chop

Ingredients
  • 3 tsp Italian salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1.5 tsp Applewood Chipotle Rub
  • Olive oil to make a paste
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with water
  • Chicken stock
Steps
  1. 1. Mix all the ingredients  together in a small bowl to form a paste.
  2. 2. Rinse pork chops and pat dry.
  3. 3. Take a spoonful of spice paste and spread it on top side of pork chop.
  4. 4. Heat 3 tablespoon of oil in a pan.
  5. 5. Place pork chop spice side down in pan. While cooking spread remainder of paste on pork chops. Cook until done turning every couple of minutes.
  6. 6. When pork chops are cooked remove from pan and pour chicken stock in to deglaze pan.  Mix 1 tsp of corn starch with water and add to pan to thicken sauce.
  7. 7. Plate pork chop and spoon sauce over chop.
