Gf meatballs with isa bone broth
Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef (ideally grass fed/finished)
  • ⅓ c oat flour (you can put rolled oats in the blender to make a fine flour)
  • 1 packet Collagen bone broth mixed well with ¼ cup of water (use ¼ c of plant based milk if you don’t have the bone broth)
  • 1 tbsp low sodium gluten free soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ⅛ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg (can use Bob’s Red Mill egg replacer, flax egg works too although I prefer the Bob’s)
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Mix it all ingredients together well in a bowl.
  3. Prepare your cast iron (or other baking dish) by pouring some of your favorite tomato sauce about halfway up the side.
  4. Drop your meatballs in (about 2 to 3” balls) gently.
  5. Bake for about 17 mins (give or take a couple depending on your oven). If you want the tops to be extra crispy, you can pop on your broiler for a minute or two at the end.
  6. If you eat cheese, you can add some mozzarella or Parmesan on top right before broiling.
  7. This is seriously a delicious and super easy meal to prepare.
  8. Enjoy!
