Keto Japanese Pancake Okonomiyaki
Ingredients
  • 250 g ( 3.5 cups) green cabbage
  • 2 ( 2) spring onion sliced thinly
  • 1 ( 1) egg
  • 70 g ( 5 tbsp) cream cheese
  • 80 g ( ⅔ cups) almond flour
  • 1 tbsp ( 1 tbsp) Dashi powder optional
  • 1 tbsp ( 1 tbsp) psyllium husks
  • 100 g ( 3 ½ oz) bacon cut into strips, cooked until crispy
  • 80 g ( 2 ⅚ oz) grated cheese or haloumi this is optional if you want to add more fat, and cheesy goodness
  • butter or coconut oil to fry
  • 1 to 2 tbsp olive oil or butter, for frying
  • Mayonnaise to serve
  • 1 to 2 tbsp ( 3 tbsp) Okonomi Sauce to serve
