Fresh Peach Dessert
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ c. soft butter, separated
  • ½ c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • ½ c. chopped peanuts
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 8 to 10 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pint (2 cups) whipping cream
  • ½ c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Cut 1 c. butter, brown sugar and flour into a crumble.  Drop into a 9×13 pan but do not press.  Sprinkle with chopped nuts.  Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.  Cool.  Break into crumbs sprinkle half into pan.  Do not press. Reserve remaining crumbs.
  • Then mix cream cheese, sugar and ½ c. butter in a separate bowl. Layer over crumbs.  Top with peaches. Whip whipped cream with ½ c. powdered sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla.  Layer whipped cream over peaches. Sprinkle rest of crumbs on top and chill.
