Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup sour cream room temperature
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbs whole milk
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour
  •  
  • Topping
  • ¼ cup sugar, for dredging spread onto a plate
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F Line 2 cookie pans with parchment paper.
  2. Cream sugar and butter together, then add sour cream and mix well. Add eggs one at a time while mixing. Add the milk and blend.
  3. Add dry ingredients and beat on medium speed until blended.
  4. Scoop out batter with a large spoon. Roll into the dredging sugar then place on pan and press down slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
