Fried Okra

Servings: Okra gone wild!! Okra in my house is loved fried, boiled or pickled so when I make this snack, it is consumed fast. Thanks to Imperial Frozen Foods for their Farm Harvest Brand for giving me the opportunity to sample their Breaded and Plain Okra, field Peas, Broccoli ,Lima beans and Green Beans.. I have told many of how fresh tasting the product is. Wild Okra 2 cups of Okra Breaded. (Either already breaded or I will give you the breading secret.) salt/lots of black pepper Breading mixture-ΒΌ cup flour, corn meal, corn starch You can do an egg wash but not necessary Hot sauce (Your favorite) wash the Okra (I wash everything) soak in Hot sauce for about five minutes, then drain. take a sifter or tea strainer, sift flour mixture over all the okra.salt and pepper Into a hot skillet with oil, take a hand full of Okra and fry till crispy and brown, turn and can cover with a lid. (Secret to frying Okra is a small amount at a time. It fries fast so do a couple of batches
