  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons unsulphured molasses (teaspoons, not tablespoons)

  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • heavy cream, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and/or flaky sea salt, optional
