Chocolate Chunk Cookies
REE’s version....1st time .VERY Delicious! ..but soft ish. I used 1/4 less They kept soft overnight... !!
**2nd try..added all sugar as original recipe.really packed brown sugar ...used more of dark sugar than lite brown.made sure I put ROUNDED  tbls of flour... Which came to 1/4 cup flour. Left to cool in pan.  AWESOME perfect texture....maybe next time leave out egg white   OR do Not mix eggs with mixer ..do by hand so not to put much air in...
Ingredients
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter...brown ONE stick
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar...I used dark brown and light...half n half**. 2nd try. ¾ dark and ¼ lite brown real packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar...I used ¼ cup. 2nd try. Used original measures
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla. N 1 tbl milk....I ADD EXTRA VANILLA
  • 2 large eggs....mix in by hand so not to put much air in...used 1egg n 1 yolk only
  • 2 cups plus 2 rounded tablespoons all-purpose flour. 2 rounded added 1tbls more=¼ cup
  • 2 heaping teaspoons instant coffee granules =. I use ONLY 1 TABLESPOON
  • .........I add  2 tablespoons  CINAMMON
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces good semisweet chocolate, chopped into chunks, plus additional chunks for topping, optional
  • ½ cup finely chopped pecans, optional
