Mint Chocolate Berry Refresher
Ingredients
  • 1 heaping cup frozen strawberries (5.5 oz)
  • 1 cup lowfat unsweetened coconut milk (I'm sure almond milk would work too, if you don't mind a slightly nutty taste)
  • 2 tablespoons organic raw chocolate powder (cocoa powder would work too)
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (You could also use agave, stevia, truvia...whatever you prefer, adjust to your desired sweetness)
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint, using just the leaves after rinsing them
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • note: Note:  This smoothie is not overly sweet, so feel free to add more maple syrup or your preferred sweetener to your liking.
