Vegan Italian American Goulash
Found it spicy. Leave out chili and add after individually.

  • 1 cup green bell pepper, small dice
  • 2 Tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 - [ 8 oz. can ] tomato sauce
  • 1 - [ 14.5 oz. can ] petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon tamari *
  • ½ cup vegetable broth *
  • ½ cup water (or broth)
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda *
  • subheading: Spice/Herb Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 Tablespoon dried minced onions
  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (+/-) *
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried crushed thyme leaves *
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (+/-) *
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (+/-)
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (+/-)

  • 1 ½ cups GF elbow macaroni, uncooked (or elbow macaroni of choice) *
