Easy Butter Chicken Recipe (With a Dairy Free Option)
Ingredients
  • 2 cups diced onion
  • 2 tbsp oil (or coconut oil)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¾ cup tomato paste (1 small can)
  • 1 (14oz) can coconut milk
  • 2 lbs chicken thighs cut into small pieces
  • 2 tbsp butter or ghee (omit for Dairy Free)
  • 1 tbsp cilantro (for garnish)
