Ingredients

  • 1 cup ( 240 ml) whole milk
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, to taste (optional)
  • 2 ounces ( 55 g) finely grated Swiss or Gruyère cheese
