Chinese Noodle soup
Ingredients
  • So many people asked for the recipe for Chinese noodles soup so here it is..feel free to adjust amounts to your liking…½ lb stewing beef in small cubes or a couple short ribs which is what I used for this pot, 2 cloves garlic smashed, 1 medium chopped onion, couple chopped celery stalks & sliced carrot, 1 tsp ginger I use the stuff in the tube, ½ to 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice powder, 1 cinnamon stick, 4 cups beef stock, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 bay leaf. I tbsp tomato paste, handful,of so of kale, salt, pepper..brown meat in a bit of olive oil, remove from pot, sauté onion, celery, carrot, then add garlic and beef back into pot. Cover with beef stock add spices bay leaf oyster sauce and soy sauce. Let cook slow couple hours taste and adjust seasoning to how you like it. then add kale and Siracha to taste about the last 45 minutes. Cook your noodles on the side. You can use vermicelli or rice noodles or whatever you like…also good with a jammy egg on top…
