Elderberry gummies

Ingredients
  • ½ cup plus ⅛of a cup of grate lakes gelatin (orange can, Amazon)
  • 2 cups of elderberry syrup (see wellness mommas recipe online )
  • ½ cup of orange juice or ningxia red or or broken into ¼ cup of each
  • 4 drops of Young Living orange vitality essential oil
  • 3 drops of Young Living lemon vitality essential oil
  • 5 to 6 silicone molds
  • (They usually come with 5 ml droppers)
Steps
  1. Add gelatin to saucepan set off the heat
  2. Add ½ cup of elderberry syrup to the pot
  3. Add ¼ cup of juice or ningxia
  4. Whisk together off the heat
  5. The mixture will get hard and congeal
  6. Put the pan on the stove over low heat. Stir as needed until the mixture is thoroughly melted but not bubbling.
  7. Remove from heat and add another ½ cup of the elderberry syrup. Stir gently.
  8. Add the remaining liquids
  9. Add the vitality oils
  10. Optional 5 to 7 drops of organic liquid stevia
  11. Keep liquid on the saucepan otherwise it will cool off to quickly and gel while your working with it.
  12. Using a 5 ml dropper fill gummies with 5ml which is a children’s daily dose.
  13. Adults can do 15 mls daily or 1 tablespoon when using for prevention.
  14. If needed bring pan back to stove and very gently melt on low stirring slowly.
  15. Let molds sit on the counter until mostly set.
  16. Move to refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
  17. Pop out of molds.
  18. Store a weeks worth in the fridge in a sealed container
  19. Store the rest in the freezer until needed.
