½ stick butter softened ½ stick butter softened
1 8oz cream cheese at room temp 1 8oz cream cheese at room temp
1 lg box vanilla instant pudding 1 lg box vanilla instant pudding
3  cup milk. 3  cup milk.
a little vanilla flavoring a little vanilla flavoring
1 large container cool whip (or 2 regular size) 1 large container cool whip (or 2 regular size)
2 regular containers of Oreos 2 regular containers of Oreos

Mix the instant pudding and milk and allow to start setting.
While the pudding is setting, mix the cream cheese with a mixer to soften a bit then add the butter and vanilla flavoring and mix well.  Once the pudding is set, add about half the pudding and mix with mixer and add the rest of the pudding and mix again until well blended, scraping the sides if necessary.  Once well blended, gently fold in the whip cream until well mixed.
Crush the oreos with a food processor until it has a crumb consistency.
Layer oreos and pudding mix, starting and ending with oreos.
