Ingredients
  • subheading: FOR THE CHICKEN:
  • 4 (4 ounces each) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon sweet or smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 8 to 12 slices bacon (NOTE: I use low-sodium bacon and just sprinkle a bit of salt on top of the bacon after I've wrapped the chicken breasts.)

  • ¼ cup sugar free low carb maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • fresh cracked pepper, for topping, optional
  • chopped fresh parsley, for garnish, optional
