  • 2 (28-ounce) cans ground tomatoes
  • ¾ (28-ounce) can water (from empty ground tomato can), or 21 ounces water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley leaves
