  • 3 to 4 lbs Pork Shoulder Roast (Pork Butt) Fat trimmed off, and cut in 1lb chunks
  • 1 Onion, cut in eighths
  • (1) 12 oz can Dr. Pepper or Cola (or 1 ½ cups chicken stock)
  • ½ tsp Salt, or more to taste
