While it's hard to go against the nostalgia of a classic fried chicken sandwich, sometimes a little pivot can be good. Case in point, these pan fried shrimp sandwiches provide the same amount of flexibility to make an awesome meal.
Ingredients
  • 2 (12 oz.) bags cooked cocktail shrimp (rinsed and tails removed)
  • 1 celery stalk
  • ½ onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, or to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons seafood seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 sesame seed hamburger buns
