Coconut Chocolate Chip Treasure Cookies
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ c. (184g) graham cracker crumbs (about 13 rectangle crackers)
  • ½ c. (65g) flour
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • ¼ t. salt
  • 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ c. (113g) butter, room temperature
  • 1 ½ c. (128g) sweetened, shredded coconut
  • 2 c. (1 package, 10 to 12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. walnuts or other nuts, chopped (optional)
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  2. Whisk together graham cracker crumbs, flour, baking powder and salt, Set aside.
  3. Beat the sweetened condensed milk and butter until smooth and creamy, 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add the dry ingredients; mix until mostly combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts (if using).
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  8. Let the cookie rest on the baking sheet for 1 to 2 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.
