  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • ½ cup (1 stick) chilled, unsalted butter
  • 1 egg, for egg wash

  • 4 cups crushed blackberries
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 7 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 pouch (3 oz.) liquid pectin
