Shepherds Pie

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup peas
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 bouillon cube (or better than bouillon)
  • subheading: Topping:
  • 6 med size potatoes cooked and mashed
Steps
  1. Sauté onion and celery for a few minutes and then add ground beef, salt and pepper and fry.
  2. Stir in the flour.
  3. Add one cup water with the bouillon.
  4. Add peas.
  5. Top with the mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake uncovered at 350 for ½ hour
Notes
  • I added a squirt or two of ketchup in the filling.
