Ingredients
  • 2 lbs lentils (brown lentils)
  • 4 cups chicken stock (or bone broth, pages 495 to 496)
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 large onion (s) (diced) (or 1.5 cups Seasoning Blend: onions, celery, peppers)
  • 3 tsp mineral salt
  • black pepper (to taste)
  • cayenne pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
  • 2 squirts Bragg's liquid aminos (2 to 3 generous squirts, or coconut aminos)(optional)
  • chicken breast (s) (or Just Gelatin, for added protein) (optional)
