Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup Frank’s RedHot Original Hot Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons lime juice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper
- 1 Tablespoon avocado oil (optional)
Steps
- Season the wings with salt and pepper, then pour the hot sauce over top.
- Marinade for 2 hours or overnight, if possible, but you can make these right away if you’re crunched for time.
- Optional browning in lieu of marinade: I like to brown the skin on my wings, but you don’t have to. Place 1 Tablespoon of oil into the Instant Pot and select “sauté.” When the oil is hot, add just the wings and sear for 2 minutes each side. Turn off the sauté setting and add the hot sauce, lime juice, and garlic to the Instant Pot.
- If you don’t care to brown them, just place the wings, marinade and additional ingredients directly into the pot at the same time.
- Seal the Instant Pot and set to “Manual” for 5 minutes. Release pressure for at least 10 minutes before removing the lid.
- While the wings are cooking, combine the ranch dip ingredients and chill until ready to use.
- Serve the wings with the ranch dip and plenty of napkins
