Low Carb Insta•Pot Hot Wings

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup Frank’s RedHot Original Hot Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon avocado oil (optional)
Steps
  1. Season the wings with salt and pepper, then pour the hot sauce over top.
  2. Marinade for 2 hours or overnight, if possible, but you can make these right away if you’re crunched for time.
  3. Optional browning in lieu of marinade: I like to brown the skin on my wings, but you don’t have to. Place 1 Tablespoon of oil into the Instant Pot and select “sauté.” When the oil is hot, add just the wings and sear for 2 minutes each side. Turn off the sauté setting and add the hot sauce, lime juice, and garlic to the Instant Pot.
  4. If you don’t care to brown them, just place the wings, marinade and additional ingredients directly into the pot at the same time.
  5. Seal the Instant Pot and set to “Manual” for 5 minutes. Release pressure for at least 10 minutes before removing the lid.
  6. While the wings are cooking, combine the ranch dip ingredients and chill until ready to use.
  7. Serve the wings with the ranch dip and plenty of napkins
