Banh Meatballs
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground pork
  • ½ cup chopped cilantro
  • ½ cup sliced scallions
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
  • 4 large cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cholula Green Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil for frying
Steps
  1. In a large bowl, combine pork, cilantro, scallions, ginger, garlic, cornstarch, sugar, Cholula Green Pepper, salt, and pepper.  Gently mix.
  2. Shape into small meatballs.
  3. Pan fry the meatballs in oil on medium high heat for 8 to 10 minutes, browning on all sides. Set aside and rest.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together the mayo, Cholula Original, and sweet chili sauce.
  5. Serve the meatballs with the sauce, garnish with scallions, cilantro, and optional jalapeño.
  6. Enjoy!
