Garlic Bread

Ingredients
  • 2 Baguettes
  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • ¼ Cup Olive Oil
  • 5 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • subheading: Optional:
  • ½ tsp Parsley
  • Pinch of Cayenne
  • Cheese, Grated or Crumbled
Steps
  1. Cut baguettes into thirds, then cut each section in half by removing tops.
  2. In a small bowl, melt the butter with a microwave.
  3. Combine the oil, spices, and herbs with the melted butter.
  4. Spoon mixture over the baguettes and then toast until golden brown.
  5. If using cheese, sprinkle over toasted bread, then toast for a further 30 seconds.
