  • 2 cups 200 grams whole wheat pasta penne or similar shapes
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes or 1 cup fresh chopped tomatoes
  • ½ cup 120 ml heavy cream I used soy cream
  • 3 tbsp fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
