  • 1 can Italian style crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 to 1 ½ tsp rubbed sage
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 c milk, 2% or whole, not skim
  • 1 lb pasta of choice
