Ingredients
  • 1 cup ground oats (see note; use certified gluten-free for that option)
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1⁄4 - ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1⁄8 - 1⁄4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1⁄8 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup vanilla non-dairy milk
  • 2 tsp  neutral flavored oil (ex: organic almond, avocado, or organic canola oil)
  • 1  small apple, or ½ large apple, peeled and cored, cut into quarter and then thinly sliced (see note)
