Whole Grain Bread

Ingredients
  • 2 cups warm water
  • ΒΌ cup sugar
  • 2 Tbs Yeast
  • 3 Tbs butter
  •  
  • 6 Cups flour (2 cups all purpose and 4 cups whole wheat works great)
  • 1 Tbs Salt
  •  
Steps
  1. Mix 1st 4 ingredients, allow to proof
  2. Add Flour, 2 cups at a time until a soft dough forms. Allow to rest for 30 minutes. add Salt. Knead on setting 2 for 18 to 20 minutes.
  3. Allow to rise for 1 hour, punch down, shape, allow to rise for 45 minutes- bake at 375 untill golden brown.
