  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
  • pinch red pepper powder
  • 1 pound (450g) fresh figs, stemmed and diced
