These juicy little sliders are the perfect little bit of emergency protein to have in the freezer. The BBQ sauce is combined with the meat so they stay moist even after freezing and reheating.

Ingredients
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. chicken sausage (such as Italian), removed from casing.
  • ½ c. AIP BBQ Sauce*
Steps
  1. In a large bowl, combine the beef and sausage until blended together.
  2. Add the AIP BBQ Sauce and blend so that it is combined throughout.
  3. Using a ⅓ measuring cup, scoop up a level cup of the mixture and form a small patty. Place on a parchment covered baking pan.
  4. Grill on medium for 5 minutes each side or until desired doneness.
  5. Serve with additional sauce or with a dollop of Guacamole.

  • To Freeze: Place in a single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet or plate. When frozen, remove and place in a freezer zip lock bag.
