Recipe was originally from Brenda Alburger I got it from Kelsey
Ingredients
- 1 ½ C sugar
- 1 C butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 C sour cream (or plain yogurt - see note)
- vanilla
- 2 C flour
- ½ t baking powder
- ½ t baking soda
- subheading: Crumbs:
- 1 bag mini chocolate morsels (or white chocolate chips - see note)
- ¾ C brown sugar
- 1 t cinnamon
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream, mix well.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Spread ½ of batter in 9 x 13 banking dish.
- Mix together chocolate chips, brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle ½ of this on top of batter in baking dish.
- Spoon the rest of batter into baking dish and top with remaining crumb mixture.
- Bake 30 to 35 min.
Notes
- Kelsey made this and Jon loved it. She used plain Stonyfield yogurt instead of sour cream, a duck egg and regular egg, and white chocolate chips instead of mini morsels.
