Sweet Potatoes Casserole

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs sweet potatoes
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
Steps
  1. Cook sweet potatoes in boiling salted water until done, peel and mash.
  2. Stir in all of remaining ingredients except 2 Tbsp sugar.
  3. Turn into greased 1½ quart casserole dish and sprinkle with remaining sugar
  4. Bake at 400° F for 30 minutes.
