Ingredients
  • 2.00 tsp(s), Spices - Chili powder
  • 1.00 tsp(s), Ground Cumin
  • 0.50 tsp(s), Spices - Garlic powder
  • 0.50 tsp(s), Spices - Onion powder
  • 0.50 tsp(s), Spices - Paprika
  • 0.50 tsp(s), Spices - Pepper, black
  • 0.25 tsp(s), Spices - Oregano, dried
  • 0.50 tsp(s), Spices - Pepper, red or cayenne
  • 2 cups, Diced Tomatoes Low salt, Canned
  • 8 tbsp Chopped Green Chiles 4.5 oz Can
  • 1.00 cup, Herb-Ox Bouillon Chicken Instant Broth & Seasoning Sodium
  • 1.00 lb. breast, bone and skin removed, Chicken - Breast, meat only, raw
Steps
  1. In a small bowl, stir together chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano and cayenne pepper (optional).
  2. Place chicken in slow cooker and sprinkle half of seasoning mixture over chicken. Flip with a fork and sprinkle other half of seasoning mixture over chicken.
  3. Pour tomatoes, chilies and chicken broth over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook over low setting for 8 to 10 hours, or over high setting for 3 to 4 hours. Chicken make break apart easily with fork once cooked.
