Ingredients

  • ½ cup cinnamon
  • ¼ cup nutmeg
  • ¼ cup ginger powder
  • ¼ cup cardamom
  • ¼ cup black pepper
  • 4 teaspoon cloves
  • OPTIONAL ADD-INS: (pick and choose)
  • 4 Teaspoon star anise
  • 4 Teaspoon fennel
  • 4 Teaspoon allspice
  • 4 Teaspoon mace
  • 2 Teaspoon chili
  • 2 Teaspoon cumin
  • 2 Teaspoon coriander
  • ¼ cup dried basil, ground into a powder
  • 1 Teaspoon saffron
Steps
  1. 1. Mix all the spices together well.
  2. 2. Pour into an airtight container.
Notes
  • *If using whole rather than ground powder spices, then grind the ingredients in a spice or
  • coffee bean grinder first.
  • *Freezes well
  • *Use approximately ¼ +/- per cup of tea
  • *Add sweetener to taste
