Chantilly Cream (French Whipped Cream)
Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy / thickened cream or whipping cream , cold (Note 1)
  • ½ cup icing sugar/powdered sugar , sifted (Note 2)
  • subheading: VANILLA FLAVOUR - CHOOSE ONE (NOTE 3):
  • 1 vanilla pod , seeds scraped (PREMIUM option)
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (I use this most)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (best economical option)
  • subheading: FOR STABILISED CHANTILLY CREAM OPTION (NOTE 4):
  • ⅓ cup mascarpone, fridge cold (40%+ fat, Note 5)
