- 2 400g tins of chopped tomatoes
- 2 ½ fl oz of whole milk

- freshly ground black pepper

- 1 oz of butter
- 1 oz of flour
- 1 bay leaf
- ¾ pint of whole milk, warmed
- freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 dash of white wine vinegar
