Ingredients
  • 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas

  • ¼ cup well-stirred tahini
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
  • 2 tsp ground cumin (more to taste)
  • 1 tsp of red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp of chili pepper paste
  • 1 tbsp of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of Hungarian paprika
  • 1 tsp of Texas Pete
  • Salt to taste
  • More lemon juice to taste
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons cold water
