Ingredients
- Pickled cabbage (600g, 1.32 lb, ~2.5 cups)
- Onion
- Bacon (100g, .22 lb)
- Garlic (3 cloves)
- Gouda (150g, .33 lb)
- Egg (3x)
- Salt
- Pepper
Steps
- Fry the onion in butter, add bacon and fry until golden.
- Add the cabbage and cook until all the water has evaporated, add minced garlic towards the end of cooking, season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Add grated cheese and eggs.
- Shape the mixture into patties, place on baking paper and bake in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes until golden. Turn the pancakes during baking.
