Ingredients
  • Pickled cabbage (600g, 1.32 lb, ~2.5 cups)
  • Onion
  • Bacon (100g, .22 lb)
  • Garlic (3 cloves)
  • Gouda (150g, .33 lb)
  • Egg (3x)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Steps
  1. Fry the onion in butter, add bacon and fry until golden.
  2. Add the cabbage and cook until all the water has evaporated, add minced garlic towards the end of cooking, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Add grated cheese and eggs.
  4. Shape the mixture into patties, place on baking paper and bake in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes until golden. Turn the pancakes during baking.
