Salsa Cat Sauce
Ingredients
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 3 cups water, separated
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons minced jalapeno
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Steps
  1. Combine the tomato paste with 2 scant cups water. Stir until smooth, over medium heat. Add cayenne, chili powder, salt, vinegar, dried onion, and jalapeno. Stir, bringing it to a boil, and lower heat to maintain a strong simmer.
  2. Mix the cornstarch with 1 cup very cold water. I use 1 ice cube filling with water to the 1 cup mark. Stir as you add to the strongly simmering mixture. Allow to low boil for 3 minutes, then remove from the heat.
