Apple Cider Braised Chicken
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 ½ pounds bone-in, skin-on chicken legs and/or thighs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup thinly sliced onion (I used 3 smallish cippolini onions)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
