Spring Ramp Pasta with Morels and Peas

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup diced cooked ham
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • ¾ cup whipping cream
  • ½ cup reduced-sodium chicken stock or broth
  • 1 ¼ cups frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 ½ teaspoons snipped fresh thyme
  • Salt and cracked black pepper
  • 10 ounces dried linguine pasta
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
  • Shaved Parmesan cheese, optional
